LA Health Collaborative General Committee Leadership Team START Team Nursing and Allied Health Career Ladders Subcommittee School Health Policy Roundtable Committee Archives Governance Committee Post-waiver Expiration Strategy Committee Data Committee Geographic Focus Committee Steering Committee on the Future of King/Drew Medical Center Nursing Workforce Shortage Committee Health-e-LA	Geographic Focus Committee The Collaborative formed the Geographic Focus Committee to determine the funding focus for systems-oriented demonstration projects that would support its overall vision and complement ongoing policy work. The intent was to fund a few projects in high-need areas. In particular, the group was keenly interested in supporting replicable, community-based projects that combined a focus on integrating health systems and primary prevention to address adult chronic diseases affecting low-income communities. LA Health Action and The California Endowment have been working together with collaborative groups in specific geographic areas to plan and implement projects.
