Health Care Focus:
The Building Clinic Capacity for Quality (BCCQ) Program aims to improve the quality of healthcare provided to Southern California's safety-net population by enhancing community clinic infrastructure and leadership through technology-enabled quality improvement (TEQI) strategies.
Focus Areas:
Increase the capacity of community clinics to leverage technology for quality improvement initiatives. Advance community clinics in implementation of health information technologies (e.g., scheduling systems, disease registries, electronic health records) that support the delivery of high quality healthcare.
Additional Information:
The BCCQ Program is sponsored by the Blue Shield Foundation of California, Kaiser Permanente, LA Care and UniHealth Foundations. The program provides support for community health centers and clinics throughout Southern California (All counties from Kern to San Diego) to advance quality improvement initiatives.
