Memorandum from L.A. County DHS to the Board of Supervisors providing a status update on the transition to the new LAC+USC Medical Center. This report is the interim report of Emergency Department (ED) and hospital admission volumes as well as specialty services with trends to include the month of November 2011. The number of hospital admissions this period was 2648 which reflects an 8% increase from October 2011. ED registration volume decreased by 5% during this period.
